May a visitor (without a Cédula) get a Multicines Tarjeta?

Thanks for the question. The Multicines website doesn't say one way or the other. I'll drop by today or tomorrow and ask, then post the answer here as a comment.

I'll also add the answer to the page about movies in Cuenca and Quito.

Lulie and I went to the movies tonight. I bought the tarjeta, and asked about your cédula question.

The young woman at the counter told us that you can buy one as long as you have your passport with you.

If you want one at Milenium Plaza, don't stand in line at the ticket counter. Go through the main doors to the area directly behind the ticket counter. The person there will sell you the card, which you'll receive right then, and sell you your tickets to the movie.

The cost is $7.00. We immediately saved $.51 per ticket, and another $.55 when we had dinner at Sports Planet in Milenium Plaza. So we saved 22% of the card price already!
