Contact Lenses

Hi, I was searching for contact lens solution, for gas permeable/hard lenses, and I am having difficulty finding it.

Do you by any chance know where I might find this? My husband and I have been traveling through South America now for six months and I just ran out of my supply! We are in Cuenca until the end of May. PS We love it here!

Hi Susan.

Your best chances are at the large pharmacies, like Pharmacys or Fybeca.

Or try the large optical place that's on one of the streets that wraps around the stadium (el estadio). I can't remember exactly where it is, but if you walk around the stadium, and the various streets leading from it, you'll find it. I know they sell contacts, so they may sell your gas permeable solution.

Eureka,"Industrial Optica Sanchez" carries the brand I use (Bausch & Lomb Boston Advance). They also carry another one, however I did not catch the brand.

No longer squinting! :)
